Nick West is a designer and advertising professional with extensive training and experience in the website and commercial advertising industry. Currently a designer in Shreveport, Louisiana by trade, but by profession Nick has many other skills in marketing, advertising, social media, media planning, software, computers, management, and client relations that reach far outside your typical designer's spectrum.
He earned his Bachelor of Art Degree in Graphic Design from Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Louisiana in 2002; and his Master of Art Degree in Commercial Art from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana in 2004.
For nearly 20 years, Nick has worked with a number of clients, managing projects from conception to fruition. The ability to problem solve is also a great asset he possesses, enabling him to work out the best possible solutions and/or scenarios for his clients.
Nick has created and developed thousands of ads and marketing campaigns, in local and national publications, for a broad spectrum of clients. He has sold, managed and/or completed well over 300 website/custom software projects over the years. Nick has also earned numerous Addy Awards for print and web projects over the years.
Nick enjoys business networking and is an active member of the BNI Elite Chapter. He has been named BNI Elite - Notable Networker of the Year in 2014 and 2015. Nick has been a board member of Jay Vera's International Realistic Martial Arts Association since 2012. He has also enjoyed working with the Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana since 2013. In his spare time, he was also an adjunct professor at Centenary College of Louisiana in 2014.
When not working, he enjoys spending time with family and friends. His hobbies include: restoring his Jeep CJ7, working on four-wheelers, his many boat-building projects, martial arts, hunting and fishing.

Chris Hemingway is an entrepreneur, investor, and business professional with a broad range of diverse leadership experience that spans the professional and personal divide. He opened his first company, Hemingway’s Collision, in 2005 located in Stonewall, Louisiana. Three years later he expanded Hemingway’s Collision with a second location in Shreveport. In 2013 he co-founded Lock Busters, a locksmith company located in North Louisiana. Chris also owns and operates Bretheren Records, a private Record Label/Recording Studio that centers around his personal creative endeavors as well as studio leasing and production to professional music acts and business/financial opportunists seeking audio recordings.
Chris is an extremely talented, solution-driven business executive having a wealth of experience in change, startup, turnaround, revitalization, and accelerated growth. DJ Thomas is a sales and marketing professional who has worked in sales since 2008. Before his move into the technology industry, DJ has specialized in sales and marketing for the oil & gas industry. He started his sales ventures serving as an account manager for Weatherford International, one of the five largest oil and gas service companies in the world. Since then, he has assisted in acquiring and progressively managing monthly sales accounts of over 4 million dollars per year.
His areas of expertise include: sales management, client relations, contract negotiations & cost governance.
He holds a Business Management Associate's Degree of Applied Science. Overall, DJ has a solid perception of economics, finance, marketing and management principles which he leverages to help the clients of Hemingway West and it's business partners grow.
DJ also lives a very active lifestyle. He enjoys Crossfit, weight training, and has been training in mixed martial arts since 2009. He is also a certified personal trainer and sports nutritionist. In his spare time, he enjoys helping others with their journey to a healthier lifestyle.

Sammy Hamdan is a software engineer with a passion for all things tech. He specializes in web and mobile app development, but in his spare time loves to build PCs, create mods for games and work with indie game teams.
He holds Bachelor and Master of Science Degrees in Computer Science from Louisiana State University in Shreveport. He has worked in both an IT and software development capacity. Whether it is server setup, network configuration, or website deployment, Sammy has done it all.
While a lot of his hobbies involve sitting in front a screen, Sammy also loves to travel, particularly to Europe and the Middle East and is always looking for something new and exciting to explore.

Relationships are everything to Scott Fulghum. He has spent nearly 20 years in the financial services industry as an account executive and manager. From 2006 - 2010, Scott effectively managed the growth and profitability of a large consumer finance office with a loan portfolio of just over $20 million. In 2010, he took his sales and management experience and put it to work as the Branch Manager for one of the largest state chartered credit unions in Louisiana, where he worked closely with local businesses and organizations to triple the Shreveport location’s membership base, deposit accounts, and loan portfolio. If you ask him what the most rewarding part of his professional career has been, he will quickly and passionately tell you it is the many relationships he has established with clients, members, and business owners over the years. He strongly believes in getting to know his clients as much as possible, which allows him to better identify their needs and provide the best possible solutions in a manner that is honest, productive, and efficient.
Scott also believes in giving back to his community. Since 2010, he has been an active volunteer with the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce Diplomat program, having served as the Membership Chair for the Chamber's Diplomat Advisory Board. Working with the Chamber of Commerce has allowed Scott to meet and network with some of the Shreveport area's most successful business owners and non-profit organizations. He has also volunteered with Junior Achievement or North Louisiana and has facilitated numerous Financial Literacy workshops. Scott has also been a licensed Notary Public since 2002, and recently obtained his Louisiana Life & Health insurance license.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, reading, and playing badminton (yes, badminton).

Ryan is a photographer/videographer from Shreveport, Louisiana. During his senior year of High School, Ryan decided to pick up a camera and found his love for the art very quickly. He started working as a freelance photographer and has worked with a variety of different clients from many locations. He enjoys working with fashion photography, as well as commercial photography.
When it comes to Ryan, passion and hard work is everything. He works for hours every day perfecting his craft. Whether that be working with different clients to promote a certain product, or just going out and shooting his friends when an artistic idea comes to mind, there's never a time when Ryan does not have his camera.
He is currently attending online classes at Full Sail University, working on his Bachelor's Degree in Media Communications.
When working with Ryan, you will soon find out how much he truly loves his job. With every photo shoot or video shoot, no matter how small or large, he always gives it his full attention to make sure it's perfect for the client. He is always excited to get to work on and create new things.
Upon graduation from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana, Genesis began work in the legal field. After a few years she then moved into the Title and Mortgage industries. Spending over 13 years in the real estate market and over seven years with photography, Genesis decided that real estate and commercial photography was the perfect bridge between both of these career fields.
With her love for commercial photography and knowledge of the real estate industry, it was a natural transition to merge into this world. Having photographed hundreds of homes in the Shreveport/Bossier area for MLS listings, Genesis prides herself on using knowledge of the market and a buyer's perspective in every shoot. She has also had the opportunity to be the Photographer for Southern Trace Living Magazine for the past few years.
Genesis enjoys being a part of the Hemingway West team, photographing properties, homes, and businesses for our clients. Through her photography, she helps bring our client's businesses to life on social media, advertising and our websites. Every great website, must have great photos!

Nolan is an extremely diverse communication professional. He's worked in the promotion and communication industry for years. His experience covers a vast array specialties, from social media management, client engagement, content creation and client relations. Nolan has had extensive experience working with a variety of businesses from tattoo shops to law offices. He's quick on his feet and can work up the perfect marketing message for any client. From technical content for websites, to marketing messages for social media, there's nothing he can't handle.
Nolan's professional experience started early as a combat logistical supply chain specialist while he was in the United States Marine Corps. He was responsible for managing supplies for deployable Marine Expeditionary Units. He also executed daily communication and accountability at Security Forces, Camp Johnson N.C. He developed excellent communication and verbal skills during his military tenure.
Nolan spent a couple years at BPCC studying Journalism, Telecommunications, and English Literature. He was awarded a scholarship to write for the school newspaper as a journalism major. He then fell in love with Psychology and decided to change his major. He made dean's list at BPCC for 2 years in a row. He then transferred to LSUS to further his collegiate career. Nolan was a member of the psychology club as well as member of PsyCi (psychology program honor roll). He's currently completing online courses to finish his degree, which he hopes to finish up this year.
Did I mention he's a typing ninja? Nolan easily types around 90 wpm. He's always been an avid tech junkie, so the computer is his second home and the keyboard is his mother ship. Nolan also has a masterful eye and enjoys working with photography. Nolan's photographic expertise allows Hemingway West to offer exceptional photography services to our clients as well.
When not communicating by written word, Nolan has performed with percussive instruments for over 23 years, both in academic instructional music, and recreational/semi-professional organized bands. He's played in 3 organized bands over the last twelve years performing live in various settings and venues, as well as recording and assisting in the recording studio.
